Medford

The park is about a 1.5-hour drive northeast of Medford. You can take Highway 62 East (open year-round) to reach the west entrance of the park.

Klamath Falls

The park is about a 75-minute drive north of Klamath Falls. You can take Highway 97 North to Highway 62 West (open year-round) to reach the south entrance of the park.

Eugene

The park is about a 3-hour drive southeast of Eugene. You can take Interstate 5 South to Highway 58 to Highway 97 South to Highway 138 West to reach the north entrance of the park. If that entrance is closed, you can drive to either the west or south entrance.

Roseburg

The park is about a 2-hour drive east from Roseburg. You can take Highway 138 East to reach the north entrance of the park. If that entrance is closed, you can drive to either the west or south entrance.

• Be sure to carry a map or GPS, since cell reception is limited.
• The Mazama Village Store carries unleaded gas seasonally.

NOTE: While the south and west entrances are open all year, the north entrance is closed for the winter, typically from early November until early June, depending on snowfall. For more information please visit the National Park Service. 

You can fly into Medford (75 miles from the park) and rent a car at either airport. 

The Crater Lake Trolley runs from the Amtrak Station in Klamath Falls to Rim Village in the park from late June to early October.
